About Tanya
Trust the still, small voice that says,
“this might work and I’ll try it.” — Diane Mariechild
T. N. Daigle is the author of The Cypress Run Quartet, a historical mystery series set in Florida's forgotten frontier. Her stories blend mystery, romance, found family, and a healthy respect for the fact that, in nineteenth-century Florida, the alligators were often the least dangerous thing in the swamp.
Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Tanya joined the United States Air Force at twenty-three in search of adventure and eventually found herself stationed in Georgia, where she met her husband. Today she lives on Florida's Gulf Coast, where she works as a librarian by day and spends her evenings researching obscure historical details, plotting fictional crimes, and asking important questions such as how many alligators are too many alligators in a single chapter.
Tanya holds four degrees, including a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. Her love of history, folklore, and forgotten corners of Americana shapes much of her work, and readers can expect richly researched settings, memorable characters, and mysteries where the human drama is every bit as compelling as the crime.
When she isn't writing, she's usually reading, gaming, watching classic films, or being supervised by an increasingly demanding committee of cats.
